Halifax Co, VA (7/17 update): EUTHING FRI 7/18! Rottie mixes, puppies, Beagle, Beagle mixes MORE

The following dogs are in need of help ASAP at the Halifax County, VA shelter. This is a high kill shelter and dogs USUALLY ARE EUTHANIZED when their hold period is up. MARYLOU is a sweet and submissive young female Hound mix with beautiful brindle and white markings. Look at those eyes! She is a volunteer favorite and is very friendly.

MCGREGOR is a gorgeous solid black adult male Lab or mix. He will be a wonderful family pet! He needs to be introduced to prospective doggie housemates, though… at the shelter he seems to have issues with some other dogs.

RUGGER is a cute and shy little adult male tricolor Beagle.

CRACKERJAX is a CUTE little ~8 month old male Beagle/something mix. He has really striking markings – a dark sable with white on his chest and tan points. He is sweet, very friendly and will stay on the small side.

DITTY is an adorable tricolor young female Beagle mix who came to the shelter with one lone puppy (black and fuzzy – looks nothing like her!). She is a very sweet girl and is a perfect medium size! Please help this little family!

ARCHIE is a tiny little 15 lb male Beagle mix – itty bitty boy! He is fun, energetic and friendly.

DEENA is an adorable female Lab mix puppy with great ears! She is chocolate with white and is just too cute.

IVAN is a very sweet black and tan adult male Lab/Hound mix who doesn’t have a chance. Why? Because he’s a “plain black dog” and can’t compete with the younger/smaller dogs at the shelter. Can anyone give him a miracle? He has such a great personality!

ZACK is a cute tricolor young male Hound mix. What a face!

POPSIE is a sweet and beautiful black and tan 7-8 month old female Hound mix. Please give her a chance!

Poor POPPA is a sweet black and tan adult male Rottweiler mix who was dumped at the shelter by his owner with Joy (see below)

JOY is a sweet and beautiful 2 year old black and tan female Rottweiler mix. She was dumped at the shelter by her owner with Poppa.

This beautiful mom Shepherd mix and her family need help ASAP! Mom is a young adult black and tan Shepherd mix and the puppies are all black or black/rust. I am guessing Lab and/or Rottie mixed in there with the puppies. So cute! And so desperate. Their owner dumped them at the pound.
