** All dogs receive distemper/parvo/bordetella on intake, and many have been spayed or neutered. The list below is only a partial list of the many dogs available—please check the website for more. (NOTE: petfinder seems to be having problems today with picture loading so please email me-I have pictures of some of these dogs).

EX URGENT/ TREELEE is a handsome male setter/Walker hound mix. He is a happy boy, quiet and neat. Treelee is about 2 years old and 45 lbs. At the shelter since 12/19/07. TREELEE IS OUT OF TIME AND IS FULLY SPONSORED TO AN APPROVED RESCUE.
QUICK is a cute male cocker mix, about 6 years old and 20 lbs. He got his name due to how quick he was when he was trying to get away from animal control! He is a sweet boy and will be available on 7/16.
ALICE is a female walker hound, about 2 years old and 50 lbs. She has a beautiful tricolored coat and big brown eyes.
EX URGENT/ TREEMOR is a sweet senior male hound. He is estimated at about 7-8 years old and was found wandering on a busy road. He has been NEUTERED and tested HW NEGATIVE. At the shelter since 12/22/07. TREEMOR IS FULLY SPONSORED TO AN APPROVED RESCUE.
URGENT/ SHADOW is a gentle giant of a dog. This rottie/hound mix was just surrendered by is owner and is in need of vet care for chronic ear problems. Shadow is about 6 years old and already NEUTERED, and weighs around 120 lbs.
MARIKA is a pretty female shepherd mix with one blue eye and one brown eye.&nb sp; She is a happy playful girl, around 10 months old and 50 lbs.
PRINCESS is an adorable 2 year old female Jack Russell terrier who was just surrendered by her owner. Poor Princess was covered with fleas and suffering from a flea allergy, but she got some Frontline and is doing much better.
EX URGENT/JONESY is a NEUTERED male pitbull, about 7 years old and 45-50 lbs. Jonesy has been at the shelter since December and is one of the shelter manager’ s favorite dogs. Jonesy does not like cats but seems fine with the other dogs at the shelter, and he is quite a character. He loves being walked and loves to collect his toys on his dog bed. JONESY IS FULLY SPONSORED TO AN APPROVED RESCUE.
RUSTIN is a young male cattle dog with a little nub of a tail. He is around 8 months old and 40 lbs.
BRUNO is a cute male shepherd/lab mix, only about 7 months old. He was surrendered by his owner because he was chewing shoes—typical puppy behavior! Bruno weighs about 40 lbs and is happy and wiggly.
TANK is a handsome young male shepherd/akita mix. He is about a year old and 55 lbs. He was scared when he first came to the shelter but is much happier now. Tank likes to play with other dogs and loves people too.
EX URGENT/ JULIAN is a handsome young male Walker hound, about 2 years old and 45 lbs. He is friendly and sweet and shares a kennel run with Zoey. JULIAN HAS BEEN AT THE SHELTER SINCE 11/1/07 AND IS OUT OF TIME!!
ZOEY is a cute SPAYED female shepherd mix, about 1 year old and 40 lbs. Her prior owner kept her in a yard tied to a tree so she is looking forward to a new home where she can be indoors with her family. Zoey loves people and can play a little rough but seems fine with most other dogs. She is sharing a kennel run with Julian.
MAX is a handsome male Am Staff terrier, about 2 years old and 45 lbs. He was surrendered by his owners along with Zoey, and had been kept outside tied to a tree. Max is sweet and friendly and loves to be with the puppies at the shelter!
JESSIE is a wonderful girl, good with other dogs, cats, and people alike. This SPAYED female bluetick hound is about 4 years old and 45 lbs, and has the brands of a former hunting dog. Jessie does not want to hunt but wants her own family. She currently shares a kennel run with Rocky.
ROCKY is a handsome male black lab, already NEUTERED. He is about 7 months old and 40 lbs and loves to play.
CARTER is a handsome young NEUTERED male Dutch shepherd mix, about a year old and 45 lbs and with a striking coat. The shelter manager loves him and describes him as “silly * and “adorable.*
